Student Research Programme
The Student Research Programme (SRP) is a research project founded by Prof Joseph Paul Cassar with the aim to connect prominent Maltese visual artists with teams of graduate and undergraduate students (Maltese and foreign) to undertake the preparation, preservation and documentation of their creative work.
Priority will be given to researching aging professional visual artists as well as those deceased who have left an important mark on Maltese recent history.
Younger contemporary artists will also be considered for research and form an integral part of the programme; however this depends on an evaluation of their merits in the visual arts field and the availability of the students.
All these groups will benefit from the educational experience that will help shape the future of our visual cultural legacy.
